Nagorik is Bangladesh’s secure digital verification platform. It lets approved organizations confirm key facts at the source, starting with Secondary & Higher Secondary results today, and expanding to Passport, Driving License, and Professional Certificates, and more - all through one portal or API. 

The idea is simple: one place to request checks, receive a clear result, and keep a tidy record so admissions, hiring, and public services move faster with less paperwork. Over time, individuals will also be able to carry secure digital copies of key credentials and share them for quick verification.

Academic Verification

Check Secondary & Higher Secondary (SSC/HSC) results directly at the source. It’s available as a simple web portal and as a secure API for authorized institutions.

- Returns a clear outcome — Verified / Unverified / Declined — with a reference you can file.

API for universities & organizations Use the API to run SSC/HSC checks inside your own systems — admissions portals, applicant tracking/HR, or eligibility/KYC flows — and act on results in real time.

Driving License Verification

Check that a driving license is valid and see the license class. Common uses include fleet onboarding, rentals, insurance processes, and compliance checks. In addition, Nagorik aims to let users carry a secure digital copy of their license and present a QR for quick verification — convenient for day‑to‑day use and renewals.
 

National ID (NID) Verification

Confirm a person’s National ID against official records to support identity-led onboarding and public-service journeys. Organisations would submit key identifiers and receive a clear confirmation to help them proceed through the same connection, subject to the necessary approvals.
 

Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Verification

Validate a TIN and basic registration attributes from the relevant authority for finance and compliance workflows - banking KYC, payroll, vendor onboarding, procurement, and grants -again via the same connection and with purpose-limited access.
 

Professional Certificates

Validate credentials from recognized councils and boards (e.g., registration/membership number and active status). This helps employers and institutions confirm that a person is qualified for regulated roles without chasing paper.
 

Passport Verification

Confirm that a passport is genuine and currently valid through the appropriate authority. Typical uses globally include bank/fintech onboarding (eKYC), identity proof for travel and government services, and account recovery. In Nagorik, you would be able to match key fields and receive a simple result to support your decision.
